Meet the People at ICMSince 1977, Christians (both Catholic and Protestant) have served as teachers, facilitators and coordinators of students in ICM's spiritual formation programs. ICM offers its teachings through faith community-based programs: Formation for Spiritual Companions and Formation for Healing Ministry. ICM staff offer consultant support to the communities who acquire these programs. All members of ICM's Board of Directors (pictured below) are active in ministry and have years of experience in the formation process.

Jan Alkire, Board Vice President, spent 8 years creating written materials with Fr. Leo Thomas, O.P. They wrote two books and the Formation for Healing Ministry (FHM) program that now is used by faith communities. Jan also is the author of Healing: Stories of Faith, Hope, and Love and is the presenter for the teachings in ICM's newest program: Formation for Spiritual Companions.
Bob Brown, Board President, also is ICM's financial advisor and has been involved in our programs since 1997. He brings to ICM many years’ experience as a business owner.
Betty Dameron, Board Treasurer, was an FHM coordinator for 10 years and is now ICM's office manager. If you phone our office, Betty will be the person you'll talk to.
Father Jay DeFolco, ICM's newest Board member, is blessed with the gift of wisdom plus a pastor’s perspective on the needs of faith communities, including what pastors are looking for in the way of spiritual formation and training. Fr. Jay is the pastor of St. Michael's in Snohomish and the newly formed Holy Cross Church in Lake Stevens. He also is dean of the Snohomish Deanery at the Archdiocese of Seattle, WA.
Jean Downing, Board Secretary, was an FHM coordinator for 9 years and is skilled in each of its roles. Along with Judy Jacoby, Jean is consultant for FHM-1 groups.
Judy Jacoby was an FHM coordinator for 9 years and is skilled in each of its roles. Judy, along with Jean Downing, serves as consultant for FHM groups and also is a consultant for Formation for Spiritual Companions.
