Formation for Spiritual Companions (FSC)

Formation for Spiritual Companions is an adult faith formation program, designed for use within faith communities and prayer groups. The program is designed:

• to offer an opportunity to enrich your spiritual life.
• to strengthen your gifts of listening, encouragement and support.
• to focus on the process of sharing your spiritual life with a companion.

The FSC Program can stand alone or serve as an excellent follow-up to other programs, such as…

• Alpha programs
• Life in the Spirit seminars offered by prayer groups
• RCIA programs in the Catholic Church—a mystagogia option.

The listening and affirmation skills taught in FSC can prepare participants for further training in pastoral care and chaplaincy programs.
