Formation for Healing Ministry (FHM) is an in-depth program of spiritual formation and training for healing ministry. It is the core work of the Institute for Christian Ministries (ICM).

Background on the FHM Program

Formation for Healing Ministry (FHM) is an ecumenical program of spiritual formation and training for healing ministry. Taught from a Catholic Christian perspective, it is designed for use by Christian communities of all traditions. A parish/congregation that acquires FHM uses it to train those who want to grow in spiritual maturity, knowledge and the competence that's needed to engage in effective pastoral care.

Formation for Healing Ministry was developed by the Institute for Christian Ministries and is approved and encouraged by Rev. Daniel Syverstad, OP, Prior Provincial of the Western Dominican Province in the United States from 1994-2003.
