Format of the FHM Program

First semester:

  • An opening day-and-a-half retreat.
  • Eight weekly meetings of two-and-a-half hours each.

Second semester:

  • A day-and-a-half retreat.
  • Eight weekly meetings of two-and-a-half hours each.
  • One day closing retreat.
  • Support for Program Participants

To help coordinators succeed, ICM provides:

The Coordinator Manual. Its 196 pages take coordinators through a step-by-step process for each session and each component of the program (e.g., class worship, reflection group),

Three coordinator training sessions. These sessions, which are contained within the FHM packet, include audiotapes and discussion materials that coordinators use for their own training. Topics include how to work as a leadership team, and how to lead worship in the FHM program.

ICM staff support. Trained consultants are available by mail, phone and e-mail. Guidance is tailored to each group's particular needs.

More FHM . . .

A second year component of the FHM program is available for those who complete the first year. It expands on first-year materials and also includes a weekly experience of prayer team ministry in a supervised setting. Beyond the entire FHM program, people use their training to serve God and humanity.
